The Galant V6 kicks *** and is the ultimate sleeper car as the removal of a few decals will render it looking quite like an innocent 4 banger. It in no way slower than the 4cyl.

not true lol. I have had both a 4G64 5 spd coupe eclipse and a 6G72 spyder 5spd the spyder weight ALOT more and it was still alot faster.

1/4 mile times in the 3G eclipse are like 16.5ish in the 4 banger and like 15.3 in the V6 some v6 guys get them in the mid 14s with the GTS

I have heard the auto tranny's in the GTZ REALLY slow the car down...

 

An auto trans really slows ANYTHING down...

 

Thats true, you'll always lose speed and time from an automatic transmission..but some trannies are worse than others and apparently the V6 tranny in the GTZ is ****ty...

 

the Auto supras are faster than the 6Spds. but mitsus autos lose alot more than the MTs do
