ok first off, your speakers probably sound like *** due to the factory headunit, and if it has a factory amp and it was bypassed you might not be getting enough power to the speakers. otherwise as far as replacing speakers, always replace stock speakers because they are always cheap peices of crap. My favorite brands are JBL, Alpine & Pioneer... if you want to spend some $$$ go with the JBL power series. Keeping brands and speakers the same doesnt matter really other than for looks and bragging rights, you will almost never be able to tell the difference of brands. And removing the back deck.... there should be 3 BOLTS on the rear dash under the child restraint clips... if it doesnt come off after removing those try going into your truck and looking up at the underside, you may have to remove the brake light cover on the rear dash to get it up.. after that it should be 4 screws on each speaker. Good luck guys hope i could help

Hey,

We Have a wide range of JVC and KENWOOD Speakers that would do the trick very nicely,
But if you have just replaced it with your standard stereo they usually arnt all the best when it comes to watts and power output to your speakers. i would suggest an aftermarket stereo if you are looking for clear quality sound.

JVC are probably my choice of speaker theres affordable and are very reliable..

Thanks,

Lucas.
