I have a weird problem related to electronics.
Since last few days I have noticed that whenever I turn on my head light for 15-20 mins the switch ( marked with red ciricle in the picture) gets warm. My be it is normal and I didn't notice before but still I don't want to take any chance.

It is actually side mirror control switch, I was just wondering how it might be related with head lights.

When the head lights are off it is normal ( not warm).

Do you guys have any idea on that? Will it create any problem on long drives with head lights turned on ??

Are you sure it's just when the headlights are turned on and not when the parking lights are on?

 

Yes, as I noticed today, it gets warm even when the parking lightsare on.

 

If it uses a bulb instead of a low current LED then it's normal. Getting warm switches via bulbs is nothing new. Getting hot switches via bulbs is not normal. You may want to pull it out and check it's lighting for tampering or rigging.
