hi folks, just got a 1993 2litre v6 galant and dont have the user manual, could anyone tell me what the A/T MODE SWITCH next to the automatic gear lever is for? You can have it in automatic or hold position. cheers guys...and gals.

 

That switch actually gives the car more power. It also wastes alot of gas. What it does is change the way the gears change for higher RPMs.
