Default Tie rod replacement?

Hello, I suspect I need struts as well since they are OEM at 195K miles but also my front passenger wheel "floats" and feels loose when it goes over any bumps. I haven't done the "play test" yet but was looking for suggestions on steps to replace if its just the outer tie rod? And how do I know if that's all it is? Google found this but anything else to consider?

Thanks!
