I have a '95 Galant I inherited with only 103,000 miles on it. Having more time than money, I just dropped in the fifth automatic from Pick N Pull. I'm experiencing some of the same problems as before.
With car on stands and in drive, driver side axle is turning based on rpm but the passenger side barely revolves and can be stop with hand pressure.
The vehicle is very difficult to start and when it does there's considerable noise that eventually subsides.
