hey guys. I was looking at my Lancer the other night and realized that my hood is a different color then the rest of the car. I thought it may have been dirt so I decided to wash the car yesterday after drying it, the problem was still there. It seems that the clear coat has faded. My question to you is, "is there any way to fix it without getting the car/hood repainted?" Let me know Thanks.

 

i confuse when you said "different color". my question is: another paint on your body? or your paint broke?

if there is another paint on your body you can wash after that compounds and then wax it.
if your paint broke, no other ways...you have to repaint it. (or use sticker for simple way....)

 

Well it is a different coat of paint.I guessI would have to say that it is broken.
