Cool 2008 Lancer DI-D battery drain

Hi there
My dad has a 2008 mitsubishi lancer 2.0 DI-D and we keep getting a flat battery. I've replaced the battery and checked the charging rate and it seems fine. When left for a week (without the alarm on) the battery drains enough so the car wont start.
Has any one had issues with these before and if so how do we fix it?
Its a UK spec car by the way, as we live in england!!!
cheers
