Default 2012 Sportback Hatch Dimension info request

Hello!
I am wanting to buy a Sportback. I am an R/C Airplane enthusiast and would like to carry my planes in the back with the rear seats folded down.
Alas, there are no Sportbacks on dealer lots for 100 miles.

Would anyone be so kind to provide a measurement for me?

From the hatch to the back of the front seat when the seat is all the way forward.

Thanks in advance!

Hi EELUK, This reply may be too late on this sleepy forum, but I bought my 2011 Sportback to carry my planes! The back is cavernous with the rear seats folded. I measured 68" from the back of the front seats to the hatch with the seats pretty far back. You could probably get another 4-6 inches with the seats all the way forward. I can carry a 58" span Spitfire assembled, and a 2m Spectra glider assembled with one wingtip between the front seats, or a half dozen parkflyers.
