Question But does it have potential?

So I'm looking for a Lancer, but I can't decide on which trim. I'm stuck between an '09 GTS or a new '10 ES. Initially my instinct was to go for the GTS (2.4-L 168 HP) over the ES (2.0-L 152 HP) just because of the increase in power, then it was brought to my attention that the ES may have more potential because there might be more aftermarket parts for it. I'm new at this, so I have no idea and I was hoping you could give me your input on it. Overall, which one can be the better car? Thanks a lot.

The two cars are the same? They just have different options to make them the gts and the es...I use to own a 2.4L scion tc and you can do a ****load of stuff.. whoever said that the es had more potential was probably a dealer so you would buy the car new ...

I own a 2010 gts and love it... the motor is fast and strong! I say go with the '09 gts..
