Default Hard time finding this part :(

I currently drive a 2006 Lancer Ralliart (2.4L MIVEC 5 speed)

I had bought the car used and the driver side axle is pretty worn. I was trying to find a re-manufactured one like many d... But there seems to be a lot of confusion as to what fits and what doesnt,

Any help? none of the local stores seem to carry it (autozone, oreillys, advanced, napa)
I tried a few websites online, and the claim they have it, but, I am not sure. Any way I can be sure? Can I find specs anywhere?

Please help!!

Autozone shows a different part number for the 2.4L versus 2.0, so I'd be comfortable going with that 2.4L option (part # 10666). Any shops telling you it's the same part for both cars, you know there's a problem.

Rockauto.com lists the part, but it's actually a service to rebuild yours. So you'd have to let yours sit for at least a week while you send it in and wait for a rebuild. Yeah, we all have plenty of extra cars laying around to accomodate that, huh?

Owch, OEM online dealer price is over $625!?!
