Default Has anyone changed their wheels/rims yet?

I have the 2008 ES model with the base 16" tires.

If I remember correctly, the TPMS is a factor/problem with swapping tires. I've even heard you have to buy a new TPMS (sensor?) everytime you were to do so.

Is this true? Or is there any surefire way (like having the dealer install them) I can go about buying new rims and tires without messing up that sensor?

Thanks in advance for any insight or help I can be given.

i have rims on mine. left the sensors out. wont mess up the car but youll have to reset the warning light when u first start the car. not annoying. eventually ill swap them but im not about to spend $180 on each tire doing so.

Pull the fuse for the tpms and see what happens.

I know several people with aftermarket rims on their 08...they have all said its an even swap from one rim to the next.

They have aftermarket rims but the re-install the sensor on their new rims.
I find no big deal for not using thesensor. you really need it especially on cold weather.

or you rather ran your tires flat or low pressure that can damage your tires.
don't install them you will see ANNOYING YELLOW EXCLAMATION POINT if you don't install the sensor. yap you can reset it but the dash board is always yellow not red.
