Default I need some help...

hey smart mitsubishi owners:
i am 16 years old, and just picked up my first car. its a 2009 lancer gts. i didnt have enough for the CVT, and my parents dont want me to drop a transmission on the highway haha. so, unfortunately, i had to go with an automatic. i have this on friend, he doesnt even get his PERMIT til augist 2010. his parents, nevertheless, went out and bought him a $20,000 vw gti. he has a big mouth, and likes to talk crap on my lancer. i am a realist, and i know that my lancer is not faster than the gti. but i still wanna shut this kid up. so.... i decided to hit up one of the forums concerning the subject and i would love to hear from some of the people who are experts in the subject. im not dumb when it comes to cars; i probably know more than all of my friends. i just need some guidance. any imput would be greatly appreciated!
thanks!

P.S. this is my first post
