Subwoofer Connection for 09 Lancer SE
Hi All,
I bought an 09 Lancer SE about 1 week ago and I wanted to look into getting a sub for the car. Looking in the trunk I saw a wire hanging in the top left corner, I asked the dealer and said that it is pre-wired for a sub because the GT model has the rockford system installed. I wanted to ask if anyone knows what I should connect this cable to? directly to a sub, or to an amplifier first? In either case, does anyone know the wiring diagram? or know where I can get one? The dealer told me that the cable is not connected in the front, but said he will try to get the service guys to connect it for me for free (so that is one headache over). I have never installed a sub before in any car, and all I am really looking for here is some sort of help to get this working.
Thanks

This sounds kinda fishy to me but I only have the lower end model stereo in my car. What kind of wire connection is on the wire?
I did however just wire in my amp recently and it works great. Here is a link to another thread on how I did it https://mitsubishiforum.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=33017
