Default Wire under seat disconnected. 2004 Lancer OZ Rally

I have a 2004 OZ Rally Lancer. I have been having issues with my SRS light staying on. I recently had my airbags replaced due to a recall, but the light still stays on. I happened to notice a wire unplugged under my seat while cleaning out my car. I have no clue where it plugs in, but have been reading that it could be a seat belt wire. I just need to know if this is in fact the wire and what I need to connect it to. I cannot really see anywhere that it could go, but I am certainly not an expert. Any help would be great. I really do not want to drive an hour and a half away to a Mitsubishi dealership again unless I absolutely have to. Thanks!

See if there's one on the other side. You could get a shop repair book and see if you can trace it down.or see if you can go on line and see if you can find it. Hope that helps.

Or take it to the dealer/mechanic who has the wiring diagram... If they just have to plug in a wire they most likely won't even charge you (or it will be very cheap at the very least)

Also SRS lights are not always self resolving (IE the light will not always go out once the problem is fixed, sometimes you need to hook it up to a special computer to clear the code)
