Default Spark plugs

The plugs are inexpensive. Takes all of 10 minutes to replace them. Maybe I'll throw a new set in just in case one has a bad porcelain or something.

Does anyone know if I have to pull the throttle body to get the IAC motor off? If so, i assume there is a gasket of some sort between the throttle body and the plenum.

If the engine stalls and the check engine light automatically comes on because the key is still in the run position. It doesn't necessarily mean the ECU picked up a fault code. When you did any recent service to your car, did you disconnect the battery at all? If so, you ECU will need time to relearn its idle adaptation. You can speed the process by disconnecting the intake hose to the throttle body- and clean the area around the bore with a rag soaked with throttle body cleaner.
Also- if you haven't had a valve adjustment in a while- your rough idle can be due to that as well.
