I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport 3.0L v6 and the ignition coil for cylinders 5 and 2 is making a clicking sound i take of the wire for cylinder 5 and i can see the spark shooting out, i bought a new ignition coil and its still doing it, i put the coil from the middle and its still doing it, i thought it was the wires but i switched them from the middle coil and it still does it, so its not the wires or the coil i believe. Anyone have any idea of what it can be, im kinda new to monteros

 

Did you check spark plugs? How many miles on the clock?
