Mitsubishi Montero & Montero Sport This sport utility vehicle offers more size than the other Mitsubishi SUVs, but manages to keep a sporty look and comfortable feel, unlike many larger SUVs.

My Montero was in 4wd with the center diff unlocked. Well the idiot light for the anti-skid/traction control came on and it automatically took it out of 4wd. The orange light is now blinking in the transfer case part of the drive indicator guage. Now I have no 4wd or traction control. Where should I start? Will an obd scanner help out? Also, should I have a TPM sensor in the spare tire? Thanks

I finally got the truck in. It turns out it's the 5 switches problem. Apparently 2 are bad but it's recommended that all are replaced. Merry Christmas to me. Anyway, is there a way to prevent future problems with these switches? I've read corrosion and lack of use is an issue with them. Will using them by frequently shifting through 4HI, 4HI Lock, and 4LO lock keep them good to go? Thanks
