Default 1997 Montero LS

Hi all, noob here,

So I just traded my 03 Yamaha R1 for a '97 Montero LS

Montero has 183k on the clock, loads of service receipts, everything works, electrics, even the flashlight has the original 'Mitsubishi' batteries in it ...oil changed every 3k miles, etc. One of my buddies has a '98 Montero and he loves it so Im hoping I will have a similar great experience

I did a good bit of research before doing the trade but would like to get opinions on here and a few questions...

- If properly taken care of and maintained how many miles should I expect to get out of the montero?

- What is the most economical way to drive the Montero on the highway? (overdrive OFF, take out back seats etc?)

Might seem like obvious questions but my only other 4x4 experience was with Jeep Wranglers

Thanks for any info
