Thank you. I ran those tests and it read 28.6 at idle. And as soon as I opened the throttle, my meter went to "L". New mikuni should be here thurs. Amazon! Thanks again

 

That was the same procedure I checked it with. Ohm meter read 28.6k at idle and when I opened the throttle it went straight to "L". Got a new mikuni ordered from amazon. Thanks again

 

All fixed! Transmission shifts good again.

 

yeah, i'd been getting p0120 the whole time I've owned my 99 montero. I finally replaced my tps and the difference is immediate...shifts quicker, more power...hoping for better mpg. i paid $120 at autozone, which was the cheapest I've seen for a brand new tps. Amazon was $170, my regular mom n pop was $160... I will update and let everyone know how much of an improvement in mpg I get...Hoping to get at least 20.
