Default 2005 Montero Limited 2wd/4wd light problem....

Hello all! I'm new to the forum but I've done a bit of reading around and can't seem to find the answer to my questions. My Montero's dash looks like this Name: Pwg3P.jpg
Views: 1154
Size: 65.8 KB. However, just recently the lights for the right wheels are not illuminating on the 2wd/4wd display. I haven't noticed any difference in performance, but I also haven't taken the vehicle off-road yet. These lights have always displayed before. Is this something common for them to turn off? I have done some searching but most threads were about the lights flashing, not just staying off completely. If anyone can offer some help I would be greatly appreciative.

yea if everything seems normal, its the bulb. you have 2 options.. the easiest, BANG the top of the dash really hard and it may go back on. thats what i did and many of the AU pajero owners.

the other is to take the cluster out and check teh bulb.

Do both of your front wheel lights go on when it's in 4WD? You said 'right side', but you didn't clarify as there are bulbs for each wheel. (so what I'm getting at is that it isn't likely that two bulbs got loose).

I have the same problem, right rear light never turns on. A trans shop said it was a wheel sensor, but I don't believe anything a shop tells me...

I also had my left one turn off permanently for awhile, but it's been working for awhile now, another confirmation of the posts about loose bulbs.
