4WD light keeps on blinking

I have a Mitsubishi Montero Sprt 2000 LS 4wd and lately the 4wd indicator light at the dashboard starts blinking as soon as I start the car even though it's on 2H, the car drives fine and the check engine doesn't turns on. The 4WD works fine since I've used it a few times. I am hoping to get an advice or someone had the same problem in the past, it's just very distracting, please help!
