My MM needs a new engine, and I have a line on a 91 Diamante engine - need to know the differences. I'm assuming that the oil filter housing location will have to be modified, and the intake changed, along with front accessories, but need to know:

will the tranny bolt up? (MM is 5 spd)
If Diamante is auto, and MM is manual, will MM flywheel bolt to Diamante crank?

Similar info for the Dodge Caravan 3.0's would be very helpful, also, if anyone knows anything or can post a link for me. I've looked everywhere (even Pirate), and the info out there seems limited.

I'm interested in doing this swap because the Diamante and Caravan engines are much more plentiful at the yards. I have a good line on a 91 Diamante engine, for a good price, but want to insure a few things before I jump in head first...
