I have a 1999 (full size) Montero with 254K miles. Recently, I noticed my car alarm goes off when someone with a Chrysler remote car entry unlocks their car. I'm the original owner of this Monty and this problem just started showing itself within the last 3 months. I contacted the Mitsubishi dealer who stated there's nothing they can do about it.

Any other Montero owners experiencing the same? What, if anything, have you done to solve this problem?
