Hey guys looking for some help. I bought a 02 Montero limited 4x4 a few months ago. Planned on slowly getting things taken care of over time. Engine trans rear end. You know the normal upkeep. Well plans have to be fast tracked as I just lost my transmission and rear dif. Both were things I was gonna take care of on my vacation but such is life. Anyways my point is shop won’t work on trans or rear dif the only guy that they recommend has the Rona. And we all know that gonna cost a lot. But local wrecking yard has both trans and rear dif but it’s from an ‘04. Can’t find any info on if they will swap. I know they are both third Gens but the wrecking yard guy isn’t 100% sure. So I turn to you for any help you may be able to offer. Thank you in advance
