Default bypassing the Catalytic Converter

I did this on my 91 Landcruiser without issue. If I'm not mistaken, there are two oxygen sensors--one in front and one behind the CAT.

However, since my 88 Montero is carburated, I don't see how this will influence the motor/codes/etc.

Any advice would be appreciated.
