Default Don't Buy Mitsubishi

I owned a 2000 Miitsu Sport, garage kept 60,000 miles and mint, Ihad the DEALER prep me(service manager my son's friend)for towing a small boat 2 miles to ramp, about 2000 total weight, and the manual stated rated for 5000 w/trailer brakes ,which I had . Well it ruined my transmission and the Dealer(Bell Mitsubishi,Raway,NJ)had the auto for 4 weeks trying to fix the transmission.THEY COULD'NT FIX A MITSUBISHI CAR.I called Mitsubishi Corp.and they washed their hands of the situation and did't even want to know me.I ,at this time owned 3 Mitsubishi autos in thefamily. Easy to figure out I will never ,ever buy a Mitsubishi auto again, and to Mitsu Corp. FU

Sorry to hear about your ordeal, but Mitsu Corp. wouldn't wash their hands of you unless there was something done or handled that shouldn't have been done or handled in the manner that it was. For example, did you call/email MC cussing up a storm? That's an automatic slam the door in the face. You did the right thing by going through your dealership for the prep, but you really should have outsourced that.
What was the total weight of the boat and trailer? Did you have to go through the mountains, over hills, or just dog the Sport for two miles? I didn't even know you could tow anything with those Montero Sports at high speeds.

I'm not saying that you handled anything wrong, but I feel that there's more to this story than what I'm reading.

yeah that whole washing your hands of the situstion, definately does not sound like Mitsubishi as they rely heavily on word of mouth, at least in canada. sounds like it may be a lemon rule coming into play here, either that or its like silver says and maby you were a little too aggressive with that phonecall perhaps. nonetheless i love my vehicles ive bought from mitsu and i recomend them to everyone who asks.
