I went towards fuel problem because when I spray starter in the throttle body it slightly starts up. I've replaced both filter and fuel pump. Still nothing. I'm wanting to do a fuel pressure test but no port on the fuel rail. Anybody know how to do a fuel pressure test on MS?

The manual has one install an adapter with test port into the fuel rail to enable a pressure measurement.

I hope to pull my fuel tank this weekend to replace the fuel pump and clean out the tank....

Do you know the part number for this adapter?

Ok.. I've replaced fuel pump and filter. After a while, my montero dont even start up at all anymore. The turn over sounds good. How do I go about doing a spark and compression test? Seem like the spark plug holes hard to get to. How can I decide if my computer toasted or not. Dont want to spend unnecessarily

You have to remove intake manifold in order to do the compression test and/or check the spark plugs. You can check if you are getting signal at the coils (primary side). Would be worth checking resistance on primary and secondary coils.
The way you confirm computer gone bad is by eliminating all other possibilities first...

Do you have a walkthrough of breaking the intake down in order to reach spark plugs? How do I go about checking coils? Which coils are primary and secondary?
