where do I find the vin number on a transmission 2001 Montero sport 4x4. The shop that put in the transmission for the dealer did not put the wiring harness secured and the drive shaft had a good meal lol. I cant order a wiring harness till I locate the vin because it is ordered by the last 8 digits of the vin.
