How do I identify what engine ?
I have a 1998 Montero Sport but the original engine has been replaced with, I am being told, a Pajero 2800 Inter-cooled Turbo Diesel.
How do I identify exactly what engine has been put in ? Will the engine number allude to the type of engine ? I want to then find out how much gas mileage that particular engine should do as the one i have seems to be chewing diesel like nobodies business.
