I lostone of myremotes for my 1999 Montero Sport, so I am down to one. The thing is, on the one that I am using, it is just the housing that is bad (the part that the key ring loops into is broken). So I have to carry it separate from the actual keys. It is a pain. [:@] If I can find an old remote that is in good physical condition (housing-wise) I can just transplant the insides from my existing remote to the new housing. I can't find a retailer online or in person that just sells the housing. I have done this before with a previous vehicle, and it really is a quick fix for the problem. So, I am wondering if anyone out there has an oldremote that is no longer useful. It's for a 1999 MonteroSport andhas to be the style that as two rubberized squarebuttons side by side in the middle/top portion of it. It has the Mitsubishi logo on the bottom. The FCC id doesnt have to be the same, but if this helps the number is GOH-M24.
