Great site! I am looking at buying a Montero probably from the 2000 to present range. I have never owned or driven a Mitsubishi but am impressed with what I see and read. I need it for daily driving with the fam and some off roading as well, nothing too serious. I currently have a Land Rover Disco that is great but I would like to have something more dependable and not so maintenance intensive for everyday driving. Does the Montero fit this category? Anything to look for as far as gremlins in certain years or parts that have a tendency to fail? How about longevity? I would like to find a good solid used Montero and put 200k plus on her but I don't know if that is realistic or not. long wheel base with flared arches , shame they nver make these engines in the country,
