Hey guys i have a 95 montero ls 3.0l, well i was driving it and when i was waiting for a parking spot, i put it in netrual, when i put it back into drive, the car started moving, but only moving at the speed as if you put it in drive and just let go of the brake, when i press the gas it just revs and there is no respone. Reverse works fine, i am kind of a noob i am wondering that since the car still moves, does that mean it is something else beside a blown transmission? could it be the differential or something? please help fast because this is my only means of transportation.

 

did you check the fluid level ???? when was the last time you changed the fluid and filter ?????
