Default O2 sensors are they the same?

I know the up stream ones are different from the down stream ones. My question is are they the same for all years? I have an 01 and it threw codes for both O2 sensors on the drivers side. The other day when I was in the JY looking around for stuff for my old Ford I noticed they had a couple of Sports that were the body style almost the same as mine but a little older, so I was curious if I could just yank the O2 sensors from them to replace mine.

Thanks,

Not sure, but easy way to check would be to go to one of the O2 manufacturers sites (e.g. Denso, NGK, Bosch, etc) and see if the parts they list for the different year Montero Sports are the same.

I happen to know that for the Montero Ltd, they were the same year to year for the 3rd generation, even between the 3.5s and 3.8s. (2001-2006)
