Default Pulling steering wheel in '95 Montero SR

Hello,

This is my first tech post, I've searched thoroughly and haven't found any post related to my problems, apologies in advance if I missed it.

I'm having a hard time pulling my steering wheel on the '95 Montero. I have removed the air bag and the steering wheel nut, and when I attached the steering wheel puller, it seemed to fit perfectly with the bolts I chose. I marked the steering wheel and tightened down, but the steering wheel won't budge. I checked out some videos on youtube that showed how to remove steering wheels on other makes and models, and the folks demonstrating didn't use near as much torque as I have, but it' s not working. I'm going to chase down a Chilton's, I suspect that there is some step I'm missing that is specific to this model. Thanks for any tips!

I too am wanting to replace the combination switch...the right turn signal often will not engage without holding it.

So did you get your steering wheel off? Was there a secret or was it just stuck? BTW, how much and where did you get the new switch?

Thanks,

Half Ton
