Just pads?
I did my '99 a few weeks ago. It's pretty intuitive. There are 3 (IIRC) springs holding the pads in place, so take a good look before you remove those. The pins that hold the pads in place have a 17mm head on them. I couldn't get to it with a ratchet/socket. I had to buy a 17mm wrench since the cheapo set I have only goes up to 15mm. Otherwise there wasn't much to it that I remember.

most 98 sports have rear shoes, 4wd models had rear pads. if you have any mechanical knowledge this is a very easy repair. its as simple as it gets. if it has pads 2 bolts hold each caliper on, and if its shoes just watch where the springs go, do one side at a time so if you get confused go look at the other side to show you where it goes!! good luck!! greg...
