Does anyone here have or seen a rear tire carrier on our trucks using the stock rear bumper. im interested in getting one but haven't seen any. I did find this but i think it sticks out to much for my liking. Might do something custom like it though.

What are you driving?
As far as I know there is no aftermarket product made in the US for Monteros.
The tire mounts directly on the tail gate.

The build on this jeep bumper looks like it might work with some mods. It my be cheaper than fabricating it from scratch. Check out the measurements.

Another option is sticking one of these in your trailer hitch:
