I'm planning a cross country drive in the next few months, and I am wondering what you guys recommend for making the Montero Sport (mine is a 98, RWD) pet-friendly. I have a big dog, and the obvious place to put him is in the back. Is there some sort of a barrier that I can install to prevent him from getting to the front? (he's too big and playful to handle while driving).

Any other considerations that I should take? It has almost 140,000 miles, and she's still running strong.
