Default Short in wiring?

Does anyone else have issues with shorts? sometimes the windows will roll up but not down (but will always work from driver side main panel). my radio goes on and off, the power locks will not unlock from time to time. my back hatch locking mechanism stopped working altogether so i busted it out and tied my hatch closed. anyone know if there is a simple fix for this? i may have to trace every wire from front to back. i don't think it is a fuse? any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

What is the vehicle you are having issues with? Year? mileage?

I rebuilt the Rear Tailgate switch in the dash and it fixed the problem. Not easy to disassemble but it worked out well.
