I have the exact same problem in my 02, same blown fuses, everything, did you find the salution yet, Please let me know if you do?

No I have not found the solution yet but I think its the Idle air control valve. I just sold the truck so now its for someone else to figure out.

there is a T.S.B about this problem. you could have a bad fuel pump control module. and yes it is seperate from the e.c.u. same symptoms as i recall. been awhile since i have seen one. make sure all of your fuses and relays are good, since some were blown, that concerns me. they dont blow for no reason.i dont remember the T.S.B number, i think even this website has T.S.B' s. it will be in group13 which is the fuel category. good luck!!! greg.....

if someone jumped the battery backwards, the fuel pump module is toast.

Default stalling montero sport

Normally that is happening to me every time the battery is disconected
all you have to do is
1 start the car leave it running for 15 minutes do not touch
2 after the car get the temperature normal operations or half of the micrometer. turn off the car and turn the car righ-oway on again after this procedure is done it should work properlly.
