so I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero xls and the sunroof motor screws came out and all that, but when I put the motor back up it doesn't work ie when I press the button to open there is no sound or movement. but being the roof is closed if I press to close the motor will click. can someone help please

 

Great explanation of how to get the screws back in the motor however the re -calibration not working at all.

My sun roof is still in the open position and I cannot close it, so I can't even get past step 1.

If I push the up on the open/close button the roof will close about 2-3 inches and stops.

Ideas?? Thank you
