Hey all, I have a 1995 Mits Montero LS with 205000 miles on it. It has the 3.0 liter V6. I have a vibration that I feel through my seat. Cannot really feel it through the steering wheel. Happens slightly at about 50mph and then eases off a bit but then comes back more at about 57mph. Does it whether I am accelerating, deccelarating or coasting in neutral. Could this be a rear bearing problem or a driveshaft issue? I know this vehicle was in an accident but don't know if driveshaft was affected. Has pretty much done it since I owned it. Any thoughts? Suggestions>

I have a 1995 SR that had the same problem, between 50-60 mph the steering wheel shook and I could actually watch and hear the passenger seat shake. Be careful , so called "mechanics" will try to convince you that your rig automatically needs rotors, suspension parts, new tires etc.

After much headache and almost pulling my hair out, re-balancing (a second time at a different shop ) and rotating the tires stopped it cold.

I guess I shouldn't complain, it wasn't a total waste of time. Greasing all the points on the truck, torqueing bolts top to bottom, and a sh#tload of dynamat have made for a much quieter and solid feeling truck
