Ok i got a 2003 Montero/Pajero limited. I wuz drifting like crazy in the mud yesterday and proving to my friends my Montero on 22s could out do there jacked up american pick ups. den i decided to drop it to 2wd to drift better & turned off the traction control. About a minute into drifting it starts beeping like crazy non stop till about 30 seconds after stopping, da same sounding beeping as when you put it into or out of 4WD Low Lock but continious. So i got tired of the beeping after seeing nothing wrong and put it in 4wd high and turned off the traction control and the noise ceased. Is my Montero trying to tell me i'm pushing it too hard or what? Haven't found any problems but i'm still wondering why it would beep. Please help
