Default 04 Outlander with no heat to feet!!!?

Hello eveyone,

As the winter cold starts to set in here in Pa, I find that I have no heat going to the feet. I move the dial and heat comes out for every vent except the feet.

I purchased this Outty last November after totalling a 2001 Xterra due to black ice, it wasn't that cold of a winter, maybe I didn't feel that cold because of the body pain from the crash. LOL!!!

I was hoping someone could guide me through a diagnostic process that can help me find the fix for this problem. I have an 1 hour drive commute to work and my feet get cold after about half way.

Thanks for any insight you ccan give me!!!!

the little gate in the vent that directs the air must be stuck or broken. Could there possibly be a separate fuse for it?
