Hello all!
My mechanic just informed me I need a tranny rebuild in my 05 outlander.
Its had a grinding noise for a while but I was hoping it was just the throw out bearing. Seems its in the tranny itself I already have around $1200 in new clutch & labor. Now hes telling me around $1600 for a tranny rebuild.
I dont doubt that the tranny is bad, Just dont wanna pay that much for a rebuild on top of clutch.

If anybody knows of any leads on a used 5speed at a reasonable price please send them my way
