Default 06, lifter tick

we've had lots of fun with the outlander of late.

Broke a timing belt and bent my valves on 3&4 but no bad damage otherwise
new machined head, gaskets, thermostat, water pump, belts. while we had it open did a valve lash adjustment.

and now I have a tick. not loud or clanky but very sewing machine like in nature. I know that Mitsubishi's are prone to lifter tick I just need to know if it's going to be ok to take on a short road trip (160 miles total to and from)

that is a funny year and doesn't tell us a whole lot. We need to know what region you are in and what engine you have. In North America, Gen2 outlander started in 07 with the 6B31 3.0L only. In Aus/NZ/(JDM?), Gen2 started in 06. Europe/Asia also got diesel options.

North American Outlander, 4G69 Petrol/gas engine, the Original head still had the oil accumulator if that helps with dating.
