The large mirrors contribute to overall noise, but that's true on all SUVs and trucks. In my case there was a definite buffetingnoise at speeds as low as 25 mph or when it was windy, this mod fixed that problem completely.

I used the thin gray foam. I think the foam I had came from computer packaging but almost any foam will work.

For me I had to be driving above 50mph and have a cross wind to hear the noise. It's more of a whistle that appears to be coming from the upper rear part of the driver's or passenger's window.
I did the fix myself with a little deviation from the process described here. I used a small piece of dense blue packing foam as described, however I also added a strip of window weather seal (from any hardware store) around the inside of the cover (between the tabs and the inner rib). Drives a bit quieter than my 2006 Sienna now.

Ya know, there is another fix to this problem, but it invovles a SLEDGEHAMMER.

It seems like anything about 40 or so it gets a little loud. So far I've just cranked the radio or I was on the phone.

Test that method on yours first and if its a sure fix I will do it too.
