it is pure steel, which is what ALL current cvt trans belts are made of. If I remember correctly, there is only one manufacturer worldwide for the steel belts on all CVT transaxles.

took about 5 hours to replace the parts and is FREE [/align][/align]

My guess would have been bad sensor, but not ABS sensor or you would have a brake light on the dash as well.
