Hey gang,
I was filling up some Freon in my A/C unit and now I notice that the fan is always active and loud. Used to be only when I had it max out that's when I notice the loudness. Now it's always on when I have the a/c on. Did I damaged something when I was filling up the Freon?
While I was filling up the Freon, I kept on looking at the gauge and the pressure was in range. When I turned off the car and back on I notice that the compressor stopped working. When the compressor stopped working that's when I notice that the pressure jump up passed the safe filling zone. I had the car running hoping that it would come back done in the safer zone. Then something squirt out with mist like appearance and smelled like Freon I assume. At that point I turned off the car and let it chilled out for a while.
Anyways with all of that a side. My question is. Could I have broken a seal in the A/C unit somewhere that would cost the fan to always go on, really loud when using the A/C?

What did you use exactly?? How much did you use? If you used one of those cheap-o cans that only has a gauge on the low pressure side, you are not seeing what is happening on the high pressure side. Pressures are also dependent on ambient temps.
If you used stuff that has some sort of leak-stop, then you are really going to **** off the shop because the stop-leak stuff clogs up the evacuation vacuum.

Dang, yep I used the one with only low pressure gauge. I don't remember about the stop leak stuff tho. Based on the ambient temp I didn't needed to fill it, but thought I add a bit more. I never notice any changes to the pressure so I kept on adding almost the entire can. That's when later on I notice the rapid spike in pressure in the low gauge. That's when the whole crazieness started. Should I take it in to get it check out?
