Hi everybody,

I have an 2016 registered Outlander and when I lock it I noticed a red light flashing on the dash that was not there before. And there's an accompanying very soft beep-beep from under the bonnet.

Any clues ?

No I'm afraid not.

It's a small red light flashing on the panel that says "Passenger Airbag" but ONLY when the car is locked. It never used to happen before I had the car serviced in readiness for the winter. There's a VERY soft beep emitted at the same time as when the light is on.

I tend to notice things like that if they change - this was not flashing before when the car was locked.
